AI SEO Checker
See whether AI search can read, understand and quote your page. Checks which AI crawlers your robots.txt lets in, whether your content shows without JavaScript, structured data, FAQs, author and date, llms.txt and more, with a score and plain fixes.
Reads the page, robots.txt, llms.txt and sitemap once, like a crawler would. Takes about 5 to 15 seconds.

SEO Services in NepalWhat makes a page ready for AI search
AI answers can only quote a page their crawler can reach, read and understand. ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Copilot fetch pages with their own bots, and most of those bots don't run JavaScript. Google's AI Overviews come from Google's normal index, so ordinary SEO still decides most of it. This checker tests the things that block or help all of them:
| Check | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| AI crawler access | If robots.txt blocks OAI-SearchBot, PerplexityBot or Claude-SearchBot, that assistant can't read or cite you. |
| Text without JavaScript | A page built only in the browser looks empty to most AI crawlers. |
| Structured data | JSON-LD tells machines who you are and what the page is, without guessing. |
| Questions and FAQs | Answer engines lift short, direct answers to real questions. |
| Author and date | Trust and freshness signals that decide which source gets quoted. |
| Headings, title, canonical | Clean structure lets each section stand on its own as an answer. |
| llms.txt and sitemap | Help crawlers and agents find your important pages. |
Search crawlers vs training crawlers
Not every AI bot does the same job. Search crawlers such as OAI-SearchBot, ChatGPT-User, PerplexityBot and Claude-SearchBot fetch pages to answer a question and link to the source, so blocking them makes you invisible in those answers. Training crawlers such as GPTBot, ClaudeBot, Google-Extended and CCBot collect pages to train future models. Blocking those doesn't remove you from AI search, so it's a business choice. The checker marks the difference, and only counts blocked search crawlers against your score.
Do you need an llms.txt file?
llms.txt is a plain-text file at the root of your site that summarises what you do and links to your key pages. Google has said it doesn't use it for AI Overviews, so it won't move your Google rankings. Some AI tools and agents do read it, and it takes ten minutes to write, so it's a cheap extra rather than a must. The checker treats a missing llms.txt as a note, not a failure.
AI SEO, AEO and GEO are mostly good SEO
Whatever the name, the work is the same: a fast page that crawlers can read, a clear answer near the top, structured data, and proof of who wrote it. My guide to SEO vs AEO vs GEO explains the differences, and the SEO audit checklist covers the rest of a full audit. For page speed, run the website speed checker too.

I fix the technical side of SEO for Nepali businesses: server rendering, structured data, FAQs, speed and crawler access, so Google and AI assistants can find and cite you.
Frequently asked questions
+How do I know if ChatGPT can see my website?
Check that your robots.txt doesn't block OAI-SearchBot or ChatGPT-User, that your page's text is in the HTML rather than loaded only by JavaScript, and that no firewall blocks the bots. This checker tests the first two and shows which AI crawlers your robots.txt allows.
+What is an AI SEO checker?
A tool that tests whether AI search engines such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Google's AI Overviews can crawl, read and quote a page. It checks crawler access, readable content, structured data, FAQs, author and date signals, and files like llms.txt and the sitemap.
+Should I block GPTBot?
Only if you don't want OpenAI to train models on your content. GPTBot is OpenAI's training crawler; blocking it doesn't remove you from ChatGPT search, which uses OAI-SearchBot and ChatGPT-User. Most businesses that want customers to find them leave both allowed.
+Does llms.txt help SEO?
Not for Google, which says it doesn't use llms.txt for AI Overviews. Some AI tools and agents do read it, so it's a cheap extra. Server-rendered content, structured data and clear answers matter far more.
+Why does my page look empty to AI crawlers?
Usually because the content is built in the browser with JavaScript, as in many React or Vue apps. Most AI crawlers read only the HTML the server sends. Server-side rendering or static pages fix it.
+Is this checker safe to run on my site?
Yes. It makes a few ordinary page requests, the same as a visitor or a search engine, and reads public files like robots.txt. It doesn't log in, submit forms or test for vulnerabilities.
+How is the AI readiness score calculated?
Each check carries a weight: indexing and crawler access count most, then readable content, structured data, FAQs, title, headings, author and date, with smaller weights for canonical, Open Graph, HTTPS, sitemap and llms.txt. A page that is blocked, noindexed or empty to crawlers is capped at 40.
